Three-Year Wait Ends in 15 Minutes for Name Correction
A similar camp was held in the Jhajjar Nagar Parishad Conference Hall. Here, District Municipal Commissioner Pravesh Kadian also oversaw the proceedings, where a local resident, Pawan, came forward with a long-standing issue. Pawan explained that for the past three years, he had been tirelessly trying to correct a mistake in his property ID. The document had incorrectly listed his wife’s name instead of his, and despite numerous efforts over the years, the issue remained unresolved.
However, on this day, things changed. Within just 15 minutes of bringing the issue to the attention of the Samadhan Camp, Pawan’s problem was finally resolved. His name was corrected in the records, and he expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Nayab Saini and the Municipal Council for their efficient handling of the matter. District Municipal Commissioner Pravesh Kadian assured that the camp was actively addressing various issues that citizens were facing, reflecting the government’s commitment to speedy resolutions.
Kaithal Residents Raise Concerns About Construction and Drainage
Similarly, the second day of the Samadhan Camp held in Kaithal saw a stream of complaints from local residents. The camp was organized by the Kaithal Nagar Parishad, where many citizens voiced concerns about the poor state of infrastructure in their neighbourhoods. Most complaints were related to street repairs, drainage systems, and new construction projects.
Municipal Council Executive Officer Kuldeep Malik reported that a total of ten complaints were filed during the camp. Out of these, four were resolved immediately on-site, showcasing the effectiveness of the event. The most frequent complaints pertained to damaged roads, inadequate drainage, and ongoing construction work that needed attention. Local residents highlighted the pressing need for repairs to ensure smooth daily functioning in their communities.
Shopkeepers Demand Fogging to Combat Mosquitoes in Fatehabad
Another significant issue raised during the second day of the camp at the Fatehabad Nagar Parishad Office was the lack of fogging, particularly in commercial areas. Mukesh Kumar, a shopkeeper from the mobile market, lodged a complaint regarding the city’s insufficient fogging measures. He pointed out that with the rise in cases of seasonal diseases such as dengue and malaria, regular fogging operations were crucial to controlling the mosquito population.

Mukesh alleged that fogging was not being conducted in many areas of the city, which had resulted in an increase in mosquito-borne illnesses. He stressed that both local businesses and the general public were suffering as a result.

He promised that fogging would be carried out regularly in all areas of Fatehabad, especially those that had been neglected. Moreover, he assured that strict action would be taken against any employees showing negligence in fulfilling these duties, ensuring the health and safety of the community.
